Micah 6:13 Inner Healing
Micah 6:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Micah 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage states that because of sins, God will bring sickness and desolation as a disciplinary consequence. It frames suffering as a form of judgment that moves people toward accountability.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the I AM perspective, Micah's words are not a distant threat but an invitation to awaken to a new state of consciousness. The 'sickness' and 'desolation' described are inner movements, born of a belief in separation and sin, not mere external happenings. When you identify with the I AM—the aware presence that you truly are—those inner movements shift. The discipline becomes a redirection of attention, a chance to revise the assumption that you are defined by fear, lack, or guilt. The verse then reveals a simple law: you cannot sustain a state that is not aligned with your true nature without feeling some correction until you revise it. So use the pressure as a signal to reimagine yourself as whole, right, and in harmony with God. Step into the feeling of your oneness with the I AM; declare, I am health, I am wholeness, I am the life that animates me. As you persist in that new assumption, the sense of desolation dissolves and your outer world follows your inner alignment.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling, I AM health now, as the sole reality of your being. Rest there for a few minutes and observe the sense of wholeness replace the old belief in sin and lack.
