Remnant Lion Within

Micah 5:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Micah 5 in context

Scripture Focus

8And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
Micah 5:8

Biblical Context

The verse portrays the remnant as a fearless, sovereign presence that stands among many nations, ready to tread through danger and overcome opposition.

Neville's Inner Vision

The verse reveals the remnant as a resolute state of consciousness, the I AM that remains intact among the Gentiles—the distractions of opinion and circumstance. When you imagine this remnant as a lion, you are not urging force in the world; you are declaring the authority of your inner king. The lion’s tread through the forest of fear corresponds to moving through any situation in imagination until its outcome is means and presence. You “tear in pieces” not others but limitation—beliefs, doubts, and external appearances that pretend to define you. Since deliverance is an affair of the inner order, no external power can overturn your sovereign I AM when you stand as this remnant. In this light, the Kingdom of God is not distant but within, a living kingship formed by awareness, judgment, and righteousness enacted by consciousness that acts from end-state certainty. Trust that you are already the lion among the flocks; let your actions, thoughts, and feelings align with that end and you will see the world bend to your inner state.

Practice This Now

Assume the remnant’s lion is awake in you now: feel the I AM as a sovereign heartbeat, and walk through any challenge with the certainty that no external power can deliver you from your inner king.
