Inner Bethlehem Ruler Within

Micah 5:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Micah 5 in context

Scripture Focus

2But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
3Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
4And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
Micah 5:2-4

Biblical Context

Bethlehem, though small, will produce a ruler who will come from ancient times to lead Israel. He will stand in the strength of the LORD and extend his reign to the ends of the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Bethlehem is not a place of geography but the tiniest state of your consciousness. The ‘ruler’ announced in Micah is the living idea of God within you, whose goings forth are from everlasting because your I AM is timeless. When you acknowledge this inner king, the remnant of his brethren—your true, healed self—returns to the children of Israel, to a renewed awareness. He stands and feeds in the strength of the LORD, indicating that divine power anchors your daily life, guided by the majesty of the LORD his God. You are invited to dwell in that presence, to abide, as the outward world yields to the inward recognition that the ruler is now within you and great to the ends of the earth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM. Assume the ruler is standing in you now and feel the strength of the LORD flowing through you until this inner reality feels real.
