Read Micah 5 in context

Scripture Focus

10And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:
11And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
Micah 5:10-11

Biblical Context

The passage foretells God removing external military power—horses, chariots, cities, and strongholds—from the land. Here, the emphasis is on the removal of outward security.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the verse as a state of consciousness teaching. The 'horses' and 'chariots' are not literal weapons; they are beliefs and habits of power you depend on outside yourself. In the day of the LORD—the present moment—the I AM awakens and cuts off the supply lines of fear and external control. When you assume the feeling that you are the I AM, you no longer identify with the weapons; you dissolve them in imagination, not by fighting, but by reframing your sense of power. The 'cities' and 'strongholds' are mental constructs built on lack; as you dwell in the one sovereign self, they crumble. The prophecy points to an inner exodus: you leave behind the imaginary kingdoms of separation and reclaim truth as your own inner reality. Your imagination creates reality; thus, imagining the power of the I AM intact dissolves the need for external defenses. Therefore, you can say: I have cut off the horses and chariots by the certainty of the I AM, and the rest follows.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, affirm 'I AM' as the sovereign consciousness. Visualize the weapons dissolving—horses, chariots, cities, strongholds—until only the light of I AM remains, and feel the peace that follows.
