Bethlehem Within: Inner King Arising
Micah 5:1-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Micah 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Micah speaks of a Bethlehem-born ruler who will deliver Israel and bring lasting peace, while the present siege tests the people. The essence is the birth and authority of a divine government within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Ask yourself not as a spectator but as the one who is listening to the inner decree. The siege you feel is a belief in lack; the daughter of troops is your scattered thoughts, the judge of Israel your I AM longing to speak through. Bethlehem is the birth place of the divine idea that you are the ruler in Israel, a ruler whose goings forth are from everlasting. The time of travail gives way to the remnant that returns to the children of Israel inside your soul. He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, and you shall abide in the majesty of the name of the LORD your God. This man shall be the peace because inner mind unified with divine Mind cannot be broken by outer events. The remnant moves as dew on the grass and as a lion among the beasts, showing the power of true consciousness to tread down fear. Your hand shall be lifted up upon your adversaries; all enemies disappear in the light of your realized unity.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare to yourself, I AM the ruler in Israel, and sense the inner Bethlehem birth unfolding. Feel the peace already established as you revise fear into faith and treat the inner crown as real now.
