Bethlehem Within, Ruler Arises
Micah 5:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
A siege opposes Israel. A ruler will arise from Bethlehem who governs in Israel and feeds in the LORD's strength, extending greatness to the ends of the earth.
Neville's Inner Vision
All outer siege is a figure of my belief in separation; the I AM within remains untouched by appearances. Bethlehem within me is the quiet stable where a ruler is born—the inner king whose goings forth are from everlasting. The 'judge of Israel' I misread as a hostile power becomes my discerning awareness, and the rod laid upon the cheek dissolves when I acknowledge this inward monarch. When the travail of birth occurs in imagination, the old states are set aside and the remnant of my true self returns to the light of Israel. Then the ruler stands and feeds in the LORD's strength; a majesty arises that governs my thoughts, feelings, and actions. This sovereign presence does not conquer others but awakens them to the same truth. The earth then experiences the diffusion of this inner government, and I am great to the ends of the earth, not by force but by the irresistible authority of I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume, 'I am the ruler in Israel.' Feel Bethlehem within as the quiet birth of this ruler and dwell in the strength of the LORD until the sense of dominion is real.
