Inner Zion Rising
Micah 4:9-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Micah 4:9-12 describes Zion’s pain as childbirth and its promised deliverance. Nations threaten Zion, yet God redeems by gathering the inner life into a harvest.
Neville's Inner Vision
Know this: Zion’s distress is the inward pressure of a new consciousness asking to be born. There is a king in thee, and a counsellor that cannot perish; the pangs you feel are the soul pressing through the old to reveal the sovereign self. Babylon is the field of your own mind where you wander until you stand in your authority. The delivering is already accomplished in your imagination; the I AM you awaken into is the deliverer. As the sheaves are gathered into the floor, so your experiences are drawn by your inner assumption into a harvest of a new consciousness. The nations surrounding you symbolize dormant beliefs that would defile your sense of self; yet they know not the thoughts of the LORD—the inner plan you entertain. Therefore, allow the inward LORD to gather them, and your life will be redeemed from the hand of your enemies.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, take three breaths, and assume the state 'I AM the King in Zion now.' Feel the weight of sovereign authority in your chest and let the sense of deliverance enter as your immediate reality.
