The Mountain of Peace Within
Micah 4:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Micah 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Nations come to learn God's ways; peace unfolds as divine law guides behavior and war gives way to constructive work.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you stands the mountain of the Lord, a center of awareness where the true law is spoken. When you recognize that you are the I AM, the Zion within begins to teach you by aligning your thoughts with a universal pattern of goodness. The word of the LORD from Jerusalem becomes a living principle in your mind, and the judgments you pass on your inner conflicts are no longer cruel, but corrective, turning contention into clarity. As you accept this inner school, the swords of fear, doubt, and hostile impulse melt into plowshares of productive energy, and the spear of aggression is repurposed toward honest work and service. Nations appearing in the outer sense are merely symbols of competing desires within you; as you consent to the inner law, those contests settle, and harmony emerges. You are not waiting for a distant prophecy to fulfill you; you are the prophecy realized, here and now, as the Lord teaches you to walk in his ways and to live out peace as your natural state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, on the breath, imagine yourself on the mountain of the LORD within; feel the teaching flow into your mind. See every sword of fear turning into a plowshare of constructive activity, and revise any memory of conflict into a clear, peaceful intention, affirming I AM.
