Inner Vision in Dark Times
Micah 3:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Micah 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Micah 3:6–7 depicts turning from inner guidance toward external signs, bringing darkness to vision. The result is that inner voices fade and the 'answer of God' seems unavailable.
Neville's Inner Vision
NIGHT and DARKNESS are not future calamities but the present state of consciousness when you grant authority to outward signs over the I AM within. In this moment you are the prophet of your own life, and when you identify with the voices that seek omens, you eclipse the sun of inner perception. The script does not condemn you; it shows you where you have misplaced your attention. God does not withdraw; you have merely turned away from the light of awareness that is always here. The no answer of God arises when you treat God as a distant judge rather than the immediate awareness that you are. Return to the truth that vision is an activity of your I AM, spatially inside, not a forecast from without. By assuming the already-present guidance, the seers and diviners become the inner stillness that allows true perception to arise. The moment you revise, you release the night and let the day spring up in your mind. You are the seer whose source is God; therefore there is always a response when you rest in your true nature.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise by declaring 'I AM the vision now; God within reveals all now.' Feel the truth of that statement as your immediate experience.
