Inner Sight Through Faith
Matthew 9:27-31 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Two blind men pursue Jesus, asking for mercy; after they affirm their belief in his power, he heals them, noting that their healing matches their faith.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe how the story is not about eyes at all, but about the inner faculties of seeing. The two men are stages of consciousness that suffer lack; they cry Son of David, an acknowledgment that the Christ presence within you is the source of mercy. When Jesus asks Believe ye that I am able to do this, he is not requesting a mental rumor but inviting a conviction that the I AM power is operative now. Their response Yea, Lord, is the act of assuming the fact in their being. According to your faith be it unto you declares the law: your inner conviction shapes your outer perception. Then their eyes are opened, not by distant force, but by the conversion of belief into feeling. The prohibition to tell anyone afterward is a reminder that the transformation is a private inner event before it becomes public. In your practice this scene tells you that the moment you recognize the inner Christ as the power that heals, you awaken inner vision. The healing is the restoration of sight to your inner sight, and the outward manifestation follows your inner certainty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and insist I am the I AM and I am able to heal this sight now. See yourself walking with clear vision and feel the sensation of light filling your eyes; dwell in that certainty until it becomes your reality.
