Read Matthew 8 in context

Scripture Focus

17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:17

Biblical Context

Matthew 8:17 says Jesus took on our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. It also notes this was to fulfill what Isaiah spoke through the prophet.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewing this verse through the inner vision, the 'infirmities' and 'sicknesses' are not only body troubles but states of consciousness you are invited to revise. When you assume the I AM as your true governor, you acknowledge that nothing real can resist your inner agreement with health. The fulfillment spoken by the prophet is not a distant event in time but a present shift of your inner atmosphere. The 'Himself' who bore is the I AM within you, the awareness that chooses what you inhabit. Healing appears as a change in your inner scenery—your feelings, beliefs, and anticipations—so that external symptoms melt or recede because your world flows from an unseen, already-restored state. Practice is not begging for a miracle but asserting a new premise: I AM health here and now. Your imagination, when faithfully held, moves the inner cogs of sensation and meaning until they harmonize with wholeness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM is the governing presence. Feel-it-real health by mentally repeating 'I AM health now' while imagining your body already restored.
