Read Matthew 8 in context

Scripture Focus

16When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:16-17

Biblical Context

Matthew 8:16-17 shows Jesus healing many and casting out spirits. It also declares that the Messiah bore our infirmities, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the quiet of evening, the scene is not distant history but your own inner theater. The possessed are the beliefs and fears that linger in your mind; the word you speak is the creative decree of your I AM. When you realize that healing is not granted from outside but unveiled within, you participate in the same act by which He bore infirmities: the turning of attention from limitation to the truth of your being. The prophecy is your own memory of wholeness returning to you, a reminder that health is already present as your natural state. As you align with that inner vitality, the imagined word goes forth and casts out the stray spirits, restoring harmony to the body and psyche. This is not magic from without but recognition of an inner law: consciousness creates form by assumption and feeling. Allow the inner gathering of health to displace sickness, for the I AM is your true physician and healer.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the feeling of health now, and repeat 'I AM well' until your body settles into ease. Dwell in that state, revising any lingering belief of sickness by the certainty of the I AM.
