Read Matthew 8 in context

Scripture Focus

13And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Matthew 8:13

Biblical Context

Jesus tells the centurion that the healing comes through his belief; as he believed, it is done, and the servant is healed in the selfsame hour.

Neville's Inner Vision

Matthew presents a law of consciousness: the inner state determines the outer event. The centurion’s faith is not a distant plea but a decisive inner assumption that health is now the order of things. Jesus’ words, Go thy way, and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee, are a disclosure of the principle: your inner conviction calls forth the outer result. When the mind accepts a truth as present, the outer circumstances align in the selfsame hour. The healing is not a rescue from without but a confirmation from within that you are already whole. The real power resides in your I AM, the unwavering awareness that creates. Do not seek the change in the world; identify with the belief and let that belief stand as fact in your consciousness. Your body follows the same law you have accepted. If you insist, you will find the appearance of healing in your body or circumstance, yet the true shift began in the inner narrative you chose to inhabit. The miracle is the mind's readiness to accept and dwell as though finished.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand over the place you wish to heal, and affirm, 'As I believed, so it is done unto me.' Feel the I AM restoring health now and dwell in the certainty until it becomes your lived experience.
