Great Faith Inner Authority

Matthew 8:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 8 in context

Scripture Focus

10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Matthew 8:10

Biblical Context

Jesus marvels at a Gentile's extraordinary faith, saying no one in Israel has shown such trust. The verse presents faith as a decisive inner conviction rather than mere outward allegiance.

Neville's Inner Vision

Faith here is not a request for favors but a recognition of inner authority. The centurion speaks from the awareness that he stands under a higher command, and his word carries certainty because he names the state as already real. In the language of the I AM, Jesus isn't impressed by rhetoric; he honors the alignment of consciousness with its own power. When you realize that the power to heal, to change, to become is resident in your own inner state, you walk with the same faith Jesus commends. Your outward world shifts only when your inner state is convinced of its reality; imagination acts as the instrument by which the I AM imposes its decree upon form. The moment you stop seeking proof outside and dwell in the feeling of 'it is so' within, you will marvel at manifestations that were always inner moves of your own awareness. Practice this: assume the healed state, and let the feeling of it real saturate your mind until it is your only truth.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes and assume the completed state you desire as if it were your present experience; hold that feeling for a few minutes, then continue with your day noticing changes.
