Inner Multitudes Gather Within

Matthew 4:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 4 in context

Scripture Focus

25And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
Matthew 4:25

Biblical Context

Great multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judaea, and beyond Jordan follow Jesus.

Neville's Inner Vision

Matthew 4:25 is a map of consciousness, not a report about geography. The great multitudes are the many states of mind that attend your awareness when you acknowledge the I AM. Galilee is the waking, practical mind; Decapolis gathers its ten faculties into ordered activity; Jerusalem stands as the inner sanctuary that worships without words; Judaea is the heart that loves and remembers; beyond Jordan represents the unseen impulse arising from the unconscious. When you claim I AM as your sole reality, these diverse inner positions quietly assemble around that center. The external crowd you see is only the reflection of your inner alignment; as you dwell in the feeling of I AM, all parts of you move toward harmony with your true being. The Kingdom of God, therefore, is not a distant event but an inner kingdom that awakens wherever you, the aware I AM, presume its truth.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, breathe, and repeat 'I AM' as the anchor of your reality; then picture Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judaea, and beyond Jordan all gathering around that center, moving into harmony with your inner I AM.
