Scripture Focus

17From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17

Biblical Context

Jesus announces a turning inward—repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. The verse invites a shift of consciousness that reveals God's reign within.

Neville's Inner Vision

From a Neville perspective, repentance is a turning of your entire awareness rather than a moral scarlet letter. At the moment Jesus begins to preach, you are invited to withdraw attention from old stories of lack and to align with the reality you already are: the kingdom within. The kingdom of heaven is at hand because the infinite I AM is always present as your consciousness. When you imagine yourself acting from that kingly state—seeing with trust, feeling abundance, and moving with harmony—you are not changing the world first; you are returning to your true identity. Practice arises as you persist in the assumption of fullness until the outer circumstances follow the inner shift. If fear or limitation appear, revise the feeling until you can declare, 'I am in the kingdom now,' and let that feeling permeate each moment and choice.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling, 'I am in the kingdom now.' Sit with it for five minutes, then let that state color your next actions.
