Scripture Focus

2And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 3:2

Biblical Context

John the Baptist calls for repentance because the kingdom of heaven is near; the invitation is to turn inward and awaken to a present inner reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

Repent ye means turning the entire self toward your true I AM. The kingdom of heaven is the state of consciousness within you, not a distant empire but your immediate awareness. When you suspend doubt and assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, you invite the kingdom into life as a present reality. The verse invites you to notice that heaven is nearer than you think, always accessible the moment you align your attention with the I AM that you are. Your outer events respond to the inner conviction you hold about who you are. So, instead of seeking change in the world, revise your sense of self until it resonates with wholeness, abundance, and righteousness. The "hand" of heaven is your own awareness, grasped by faith and sustained until it becomes ordinary. In this light, repentance is steady inner revision, a re-choosing of identity, and the kingdom comes not by distance but by the certainty of your present I AM.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your own reality, and feel the kingdom of heaven already present within you. Let this feeling linger, and act from that assumed reality in your next moment.
