Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The women find the tomb empty; an angel proclaims Jesus is risen, and they are sent to tell the disciples. Jesus then meets them, instructs them not to fear, and directs them to meet him in Galilee.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine Matthew 28:6-10 as a map of inner awakening. The empty tomb is not a historical puzzle but the moment your consciousness declares, 'I am not this fear-bound self.' When the angel says, 'He is risen,' see it as the sudden rise of your true I AM—the awareness that never died, only believed itself to be finite. The stone rolled away symbolizes the collapse of old identifications; the place where the Lord lay becomes the quiet chamber of present awareness where you realize you are divine, not in some distant time but now. 'Go quickly' and 'tell' become a practice: witness to yourself that the risen presence already walks beside you, guiding your choices into Galilee—the ordinary field of daily life where you meet the risen Jesus again and again. Fear and great joy signify the inner movement from absence to presence: you depart the tomb with reverent faith, ready to worship in every moment. The appearance of Jesus to his disciples is your own inner recognition: the risen you meets the daily world and offers blessing, guidance, and witness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the end: you are already risen, the I AM fully awake. Then step into your next moment as that risen self in Galilee, and let the day reflect your inner witness.
