All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth is the announcement that the I AM, your inner awareness, already commands both the inner heights and the outward scene. Heaven and earth are not distant realms but two aspects of the same state—your feeling and its outward display. When you assent to this power as your own, you stop seeking authority in people, institutions, or luck, and you begin to reign from the awareness that you are the one conscious in which events occur. The verse asks you to live as if you already possess the crown, to revise lack into abundance by feeling the current of power circulating through thoughts, images, and sensations. As you persist in this inner claim, outer circumstances rearrange to match the inner kingly state and you discover the promised authority in your own life.
