Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus takes a cup, gives thanks, and declares the cup his blood of the new testament shed for many for the remission of sins, promising not to drink again until he shares it anew in his Father’s kingdom.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scene the cup is not a mere ritual but a symbol of your inner state. The blood of the new covenant is the vibrational frequency by which you wash away guilt—an energy available to you in your own consciousness. 'For many' signals the universal reach of this forgiveness within your inner world, not bound to a single moment. The vow, 'I will not drink henceforth... until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom,' points to a deliberate shift of attention: you suspend old states and align with a present awareness of the Father’s kingdom. The kingdom is not distant; it is a consciousness you can inhabit here and now by the I AM you claim. When you drink this cup in imagination, permit forgiveness to flood your being, and feel yourself already living in the realm where all things are made new—this is the true remission of sins, here and now, within the consciousness that knows itself as love and unity.
Practice This Now
Hold a cup in your hand, close your eyes, and say, 'I am the I AM in the Father's kingdom now.' Feel the forgiveness rise within you, then take a symbolic sip and dwell in the feeling that the new covenant is operative in your life this moment.
