Matthew 26:24-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 26 in context

Scripture Focus

24The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
25Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
Matthew 26:24-25

Biblical Context

Jesus goes forward as prophesied; a warning is given about the one who betrays him, and Judas asks if he is the betrayer, with Jesus confirming that the statement is true.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the Son of Man as the I AM within you moving through a script written by your own imagining. It is written signals the inner law that your state of consciousness manifests outward events. The betrayal is not a distant act but the moment your mind clings to a portrait of separation and acts from it. Woe to that state, for it blocks the realization that you are the creator of your scenes. Judas is your inner check when fear or judgment arises. The response that you have named the state you inhabit is an invitation to change. Thus the familiar drama is reversible by a change of assumption. Rest in the I AM, imagine the peaceful outcome here and now, and let the old image fade as you hold to your unity with all. The Son of Man goes as it is written because the law of your consciousness advances toward its truth; your task is to revise the inner script, not feed the belief in betrayal.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and affirm I AM as the witness within. Revise the image of separation by declaring unity with all life and feel that reality flood your awareness.
