Matthew 26:17-19

Biblical Context

Jesus directs the disciples to prepare the Passover in a chosen house, signaling a sacred moment. They obey and make ready.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the scene as an inner act of readiness. The Master's word 'My time is at hand' is a call from the I AM to summon a moment when the divine can be present. The instruction to go into the city and host the Passover at a certain house is a symbol for locating the exact inner condition where you and the eternal feast can occur. The disciples' obedience—'they did as Jesus had appointed them'—shows loyalty to the inner command rather than to external signs. Your Passover is the moment you consent to the presence you seek, removing inner leaven—doubt, haste, fear—and making space for awareness to dwell. When you assume the feast is already prepared in your consciousness, you reaffirm covenant loyalty: you (the I AM) are hosting the Master within, and the feast becomes your experience of true worship. The outer event mirrors your inner state: a prepared mind, a tranquil heart, and a consciousness that treats time as immediate, not distant.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the inner room is prepared now; feel the Master present and the joy of the feast as already yours.
