Biblical Context
Jesus states that in two days the Passover will occur and that the Son of Man will be betrayed to be crucified; the chief priests and elders plot to kill him, choosing not to act on the feast day to avoid an uproar.
Neville's Inner Vision
All that is recorded here is not a history lesson but a map of your inner life. The 'Son of Man' stands for your I AM awakening to purpose, while the priests, scribes, and elders are the inner fears that seek to preserve the ego's safety. They gather in the inner palace and devise subtleties to 'kill' the next leap, to postpone transformation so as not to disturb the crowd of ego. The note about two days marks the timing of a breakthrough within consciousness, and the insistence on not acting on the feast day shows how the mind protects the crowd from disturbance. Yet prophecy and promise abide: a higher life is meant to be revealed through the crucifixion of old beliefs. Your task is to refuse complicity with those inner counselors and align with the I AM by holding the vision that transformation is already done, and by living as if the higher life is present here and now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the inner council dissolving its plot against your next leap. In the feeling of I AM, revise the scene so the higher self is protected and old fears fade as if already fulfilled.
