Mercy To The Least Within
Matthew 25:45 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The verse says: 'Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me'—showing that neglect of the least is neglect of the Christ within.
Neville's Inner Vision
In truth, the 'least' are the quiet states of consciousness within you—jealousy, fear, indifference, and the impulse to help. When you neglect them, you deny the I AM that perceives all. The parable invites a revision of your inner economy: your world is built from the feelings you nurture toward every part of yourself. Mercy and generosity are inner recognitions that all facets of consciousness are one; withholding care to any fragment resists your awakening. The 'me' in the text is the living I AM within, responding to the love you offer your inner life. If you imagine giving kindness, patience, or assistance to that neglected part, your outer experiences align with that inner state and the universe rearranges to reflect it. Thus the commandment is a call to inner rebirth: treating the least as sacred awakens the Christ within and reveals the kingdom that has always been inside you.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already merciful toward the least within you. Revise by declaring, 'I AM the mercy that cares for every hidden part; I now act as if it is so,' and feel that care filling your being.
