Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In this parable a master entrusts his possessions to three servants; two trade to multiply what they were given, while the one who hid his talent fears and loses it.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner world is the traveling master; the talents are not coins but forms of consciousness and capacity granted by your I AM. The five, the two, and the one are states of awareness you already possess. When one servant multiplies his five into ten, he demonstrates a consciousness that freely uses life; when the other doubles his, it shows trust in the same inner currency. The servant who hid his talent reveals a fear-driven attitude—he imagines limitation and projects it into the earth. The lord’s return is the moment you awaken to see what you have really done with your inner wealth: those who have awakened their capacities enter the joy of the lord, becoming rulers over many things in the realm of consciousness. The casting into outer darkness is simply waking up to the belief that your gifts do not exist. The cure is inner investment: plant your mind’s currency in the exchangers—imagination and action—and watch it return with usury. As you perceive, to him that hath shall be given; to him that fears, nothing remains.
Practice This Now
Choose one talent or gift you already possess. Assume it fully, imagine yourself exercising it to produce tangible results, and feel the joy of its realization now.
