Watchful Mind, Inner Hour

Matthew 25:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 25 in context

Scripture Focus

13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25:13

Biblical Context

The verse urges constant vigilance because the moment of revelation is unknown; remain awake and prepared for the coming of the Son of Man, which is your inner awakening.

Neville's Inner Vision

Watch therefore is a call to maintain a continuous state of consciousness rather than merely casting eyes outward. The Son of Man arises within you when the I AM becomes fully present as your life; time is inner, and the hour you seek arrives when you persist in the assumption that your desire is already real. Do not look for external signs or dates; cultivate a steady felt sense of the wished-for state and let that feeling govern your decisions, thoughts, and actions. When you dwell in that assured inner state, you align your inner dispositions with the desired outcome, so events begin to mirror the inner reality. The unknown day or hour dissolves as you insist, in imagination, that you are already living the future now. In this light, vigilance is an ongoing practice of feeling the wish fulfilled until it is fully embodied.

Practice This Now

Practice: in a quiet moment, assume the state you desire as your present reality—sit with it, feel the relief, then repeat your 'I am' affirmation for 2 minutes, letting the feeling of already having arrived permeate your being.
