Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses warn that global turmoil will rise—wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes—and urge you not to be troubled, for these things must come but the end is not yet.
Neville's Inner Vision
These words describe outward tumult, yet their deepest message is inward: the outer world mirrors your inner states. You are the I AM, the consistent awareness that observes rather than participates in fear. When you hear of wars, rumors of wars, do not be troubled; let that disturbance remind you that you have been investing attention into a dream. The phrase the end is not yet signals that your true fulfillment lies in the ongoing cultivation of a tranquil consciousness, not in external conclusions. When you notice nation against nation, consider the inner oppositions you tolerate—one thought clinging to lack, another clinging to fear, a third demanding control. They rise and fall as a stage play, until you revise them by assuming a state of harmony and sufficiency. The world moves to align with the inner drama you consent to inhabit. By imagining yourself grounded in the I AM, you revise the entire script; feelings of calm replace panic, and the world you behold responds to that inward decree. Your decisive act is to assume and feel the calm reality you desire, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, breathe, and revise by affirming, 'I am the I AM, and I dwell in perpetual peace,' and feel that peace as a present sensation, letting it saturate your body.
