The Unknowable Hour Within

Matthew 24:36 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 24 in context

Scripture Focus

36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:36

Biblical Context

Matthew 24:36 states that no one knows the exact day or hour, not even the angels, but the Father alone. This points to an inner timing grounded in consciousness rather than external prediction.

Neville's Inner Vision

All prophecy concerns states of consciousness, not futures rehearsed in time. The 'day and hour' spoken of by Jesus is not a calendar moment but the moment when your awareness realizes itself as the Father within. Angels in heaven symbolize the moving thoughts of your mind; yet they know nothing but the static of the You who stands beyond time. When you inquire into the hour, you are asked to turn inward and acknowledge that the timing of every event is determined by your inner state. The Father within is always present and knows, but only as your awakened I AM. Therefore, the coming kingdom is an awakening, not a countdown. By assuming a state of perfect, completed consciousness, you revise what appears in the outer world. Your imagination then becomes the instrument by which time folds into the now, and what you once sought as future unfolds from the inside out. Trust the inner rhythm, for it is the true clock of your life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM. Assume the hour already known to your inner Father, and feel the shift as imagination brings the outer events into alignment with that inner state.
