Wedding Call Within
Matthew 22:3-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The invited ignore and mistreat the servants; the feast is prepared but no one comes, and some go to worldly concerns while others abuse the messengers.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, the wedding is the expression of your own awareness. The servants are the inner faculties that carry a call from your deeper self; when they are dismissed, you are denying the invitation you have already felt within. The first refusals—going to a farm or to merchandise—represent attachments to outward thoughts, to the small satisfactions of the outer world that pretend to satisfy the being who thirsts for life. The remaining remnant who abuse the messengers reveals fear and prejudice—your mind turning the voice of life into resistance. Yet the host has prepared everything: the dinner, the oxen, the fatlings—your inner abundance ready for you to enter. Do not judge the messengers as if they were external; see them as aspects of your consciousness calling you to awaken. When you accept the invitation in imagination, you authorize the very state that calls it forth. You awaken to the feast because you now inhabit the consciousness that already knows you are worthy of the union.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and declare I AM the invitation. You are now at the feast, and the inner abundance is yours.
