Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus commands the disciples to fetch the donkey and colt; they place their cloaks on them, and a great crowd spreads garments and branches along the road, crying blessings to the coming King.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice, beloved, that the procession is not an outward pageant but the inner acknowledgment of your own I AM at work. The donkey and colt symbolize a mind ready to bear the weight of a new royal consciousness; the cloaks laid under Jesus are your thoughts, laid aside, willing to be used for a higher purpose. The crowd’s garments and branches signify beliefs, feelings, and memories we throw into the way to honor the manifestation of divine authority within. When the multitude cries Hosanna—the Saviour, the One who comes in the name of the Lord—it is your inner awareness approving of the coming of the Kingdom of God in you. The title 'Son of David' points to lineage of rulership not of flesh, but of awakened consciousness, the recognition that the Presence rules within and over all external appearances. The key is obedience: the disciples did as Jesus commanded; so must you listen to the still, small voice and act in faith, calling forth the reality you already are.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the feeling of your desired state as already true. Quietly declare, 'Hosanna to the I AM within me,' and walk as one who lives under the royal authority of God in you.
