Read Matthew 20 in context

Scripture Focus

25But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Matthew 20:25-27

Biblical Context

Jesus contrasts worldly rulers who dominate with his call for greatness through service. True greatness in the Kingdom comes from ministering to others.

Neville's Inner Vision

Life does not pour from without into you; it echoes from within your I AM. When you hear Jesus dismiss the princes of the Gentiles, you are being reminded that authority in the Kingdom is not seized but assumed as a state of consciousness. The mind that claims dominion over others is only a temporary dream; the true 'great one' is the minister within you—moved by love, attentive to every impulse to serve. To be great is to choose the role of helper in your own inner world: to dissolve pride, to align your will with the service of harmony, and to let your imagination reveal a reality where love governs. As you dwell in that assumption, your outer life rearranges itself—not by coercion but by the spiritual law that you become who you believe you are. The I AM does not judge but loves, and by assuming you are the minister, you awaken the kingdom where you are chief not over others but over your own fear, ego, and separation.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the ministerial state: 'I am here to serve.' Feel that love moving through you, and let it guide your next action so you act as a servant-leader in your daily life.
