Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus contrasts worldly rulers who rule by domination with true greatness that comes from serving others, culminating in giving his life. The call is to shift inner posture from power over others to ministering to all.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner light, greatness is not the dominion of the outer ego but the quiet readiness to serve as the instrument of the I AM within. The dispute of the ten reveals the old self clinging to status; the Kingdom arises when you refuse to imitate that order and choose to minister. Remember: the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give life as a ransom—this is your inner directive. See yourself as the inner minister, the one through whom life is moved for others. When you assume the state of service, you align with the I AM that you are, and the outer world reflects a shift from control to contribution. The inner kingdom awakens as you dwell in the feeling that you are already the servant of all, carrying life forward by your presence and care. Practice this posture, and authority blossoms as a natural expression of humble service.
Practice This Now
tonight, close your eyes and declare, 'I am here to serve,' then revise any impulse to dominate by imagining yourself ministering to someone in need; feel the I AM within as the power behind your acts of service.
