10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Matthew 2:9-10

Biblical Context

Wise men follow a guiding star to the place of the child. Upon arrival, they rejoice with exceeding great joy.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the star in Matthew as the living idea you hold in mind—the I AM that moves before you. The king’s decree represents the old state of consciousness that would dim this birth. When you depart from that claim, you make room for the new, and the star’s path before you is your assurance that alignment is possible now. The star stopping over the place of the child is the moment your inner birth stands in view; the child is your divine idea made manifest in imagination, not a distant event but a present feeling. Your joy upon seeing the star is the inner proof that your assumption has taken root and is becoming outward reality. Providence and guidance are not distant forces; they are your felt relation to the idea you choose. True worship, here, means honoring the birth in you by remaining in the mood of the fulfilled idea. Let the inner child live and grow within your consciousness, and you will find the outward scene follows from that inner birth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the star of your I AM is guiding you toward the birth of your desired idea; dwell there until you feel the joy as if it already happened.
