Matthew 19:3-4

Biblical Context

The Pharisees test Jesus about divorce. He points to the original creation, saying God made them male and female, to show a divine order behind relationship.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jesus redirects the quarrel from outward law to inward order. The 'beginning' is the birth of your present consciousness, where the masculine and feminine are two aspects of one life created by the I AM. When you dwell in that unity, you stop clinging to appearances and recognize that true relationship is governed by the harmony of your inner states. To seek a divorce in life is to forget the wholeness that already exists within you. The law that binds is your awareness, and any sense of separation must yield to a revision in imagination. If you persist in feeling the oneness of your inner male and female in God, your outer circumstances align with that truth, bringing continuity rather than rupture. The inner movement creates the outer scene; change the inner state, and the outer world follows.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the I AM joining you and your beloved into one life; feel the unity now.
