Inner Regeneration and Kingdom Throne

Matthew 19:28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 19 in context

Scripture Focus

28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 19:28

Biblical Context

Jesus tells the disciples that those who have followed him will share in a future regeneration and will sit on twelve thrones to judge the twelve tribes.

Neville's Inner Vision

View the verse as an invitation to shift your inner state. Regeneration is not a distant event; it is a renewal of consciousness, a ruling stance in your mind where the Son of Man, the I AM you, sits on the throne of glory within. The twelve thrones symbolize the twelve faculties of your consciousness, namely imagination, memory, perception, faith, hope, love, courage, will, discernment, receptivity, speech, and action, through which you govern your inner world. To have followed Jesus is to have entered this new kingdom, where external conditions reveal the quality of your inner rule. The judging of the twelve tribes is inward discernment—recognizing what serves your divine nature and what does not. Your reality is the effect of your consciousness upon itself; as you maintain this upward-spiraling state, you awaken from the old sense of separation and reign in your own mind, not by force, but by alignment with the I AM within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state: I am regenerated, seated on the throne of my glory, governing from the I AM within. Feel it real by dwelling in that sensation for a few breaths, repeating the assurance until it anchors.
