Inner Kingdom of Childlikeness
Matthew 19:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus welcomes the little ones and declares that their simple openness is the doorway to the Kingdom of Heaven. The verse invites us to recognize that childlike trust is a present state of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the scene as a demonstration of consciousness, not a ward of mortality. The little ones represent a state of awareness unclouded by need to prove or possess. When Jesus says 'for of such is the kingdom of heaven,' he is indicating that the kingdom is not a distant reward but a present condition of your I AM here and now. To dwell in that state you must consent to the childlike posture: trust, wonder, receptivity, and the willing abandonment of fear-based schemas. In Neville's terms, you are not waiting for the kingdom; you are the kingdom, whenever your attention is aligned with the feeling of being loved, guided, and supported by the I AM. The inner movement is to revise any sense of separation; suppose you imagine the kingdom already formed within you, and let that feeling spread from the heart to the whole body. As you persist, the outer scenes adjust to reflect the inner harmony; the so-called 'suffer little children' becomes a sign that you are choosing a state of consciousness that hosts Heaven within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the feeling of childlike openness; welcome that presence as if it were your own awareness here and now. Stay with the feeling for a few minutes, revising any belief that the kingdom is elsewhere and affirm, 'I am the kingdom within this moment.'
