Inner Eunuchs and the Kingdom

Matthew 19:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 19 in context

Scripture Focus

12For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Matthew 19:12

Biblical Context

Matthew 19:12 speaks of three kinds of eunuchs—those born that way, those made by others, and those who renounce attachments for the Kingdom of Heaven—and invites you to receive this truth by aligning your inner state with the Kingdom.

Neville's Inner Vision

The eunuchs symbolize states of consciousness rather than literal conditions. Some are born into patterns of desire and identity; some are shaped by others’ rules and social pressures; some have willingly renounced attachments to preserve the integrity of the Kingdom within. The Kingdom of Heaven is not a distant locale but a present state of awareness—the I AM you truly are. Through imagination you can revise any state: recognize you are not bound by birth or social decree, and consciously assume the kingdom as your reality. If you insist on limitation, you remain as one of the three; if you claim a higher possibility, you become the one who has made themselves for the Kingdom. He who can receive it is invited to inhabit that inner reality now, and let the outer life follow the inner conviction. Practice is not coercion but alignment of your assumed state with the truth of your being.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state: I am one who freely renounces worldly ties for the Kingdom’s sake, and I am already living in that inner reality.
