Transfigured Consciousness Meditation

Matthew 17:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 17 in context

Scripture Focus

2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Matthew 17:2

Biblical Context

The text describes Jesus being transfigured, his face shining like the sun and his robes white as light.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider that the transfiguration is a mirror of your inner state. The outer 'glory' comes forth when consciousness yields to its own I AM. The face shining and the robes whitening are symbols that your attention, when fixed on the truth of your being, reveals itself as light. You are not observing Jesus so much as observing the you that you are through him—an I AM unbound by fault, time, or distance. The disciples witnessed a shift in form because a shift in awareness had already occurred in Jesus' inner sense of self. In your life, imagine and dwell in that same radiance; refuse to identify with limitation, and watch how fear, doubt, and darkness fade as light takes precedence. This is holiness and separation not as a rule to uphold, but as the natural state of your consciousness when you remember who you are: the I AM, the Light that shines through every face and garment.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare 'I AM that I AM light,' and picture your face and robes shining; feel the inner certainty as if the radiance is already your present state.
