Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus responds to the crowd's doubt, commands the spirit to depart, and the boy is healed that hour. Healing occurs the moment authority over inner evil is asserted.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider Matthew 17:17-18 as a manual for your inner life. The faithless and perverse generation represents a mind saturated with doubt, the devil is a stubborn inner thought-form that pretends to have power, and the child is your living vitality awaiting expression. Bring him to me—bring the issue to the I AM that you are. When Jesus rebukes the devil, he is not performing for another; he is demonstrating the way consciousness operates: you have the authority to dismiss what does not belong to your true state. The demon departs, and the healing is immediate, because the instant you align your feeling with the truth of your unity with God, movement follows the belief. In your practice, refuse to entertain the nagging thought forms and adopt the assumption that your condition is already healed by the creatorship of your own inner I AM. The cure is not out there; it is the inner shift in consciousness that makes the outer body reflect it.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I AM the power here now. Bring the issue to the inner Presence, command the thought-form to depart, and feel the healing as already done.
