Inner Provision of Four Thousand
Matthew 15:38 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Matthew 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
A large crowd, including women and children, ate after being provided for.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the crowd as states of consciousness within you. The four thousand are your varied needs, your hopes, your tireless activities thirsting for nourishment by awareness. The women and children mark the breadth of life covered by this inner banquet. The miracle happens not by begging from without, but by claiming the I AM as the living source and by assuming the end—that you are already supplied. When you feel 'I am fed; there is more than enough,' imagination becomes the oven where form is baked. Do not chase bread; stand in the conviction that supply is present here and now, and watch the outer scene adjust to your inner condition. The law of consciousness multiplies according to your established state, and the four thousand eat because you have chosen fullness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and picture yourself feeding a vast crowd; feel the sensation of fullness and gratitude. Then carry that sense of having already received into today’s moments.
