Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus shows compassion to the crowd that has followed for three days without food and resolves not to send them away hungry. The disciples doubt the practical supply, but Jesus redirects their focus to what they carry inside and demonstrates that inner provision can multiply to meet need.
Neville's Inner Vision
On hearing the compassionate call, you recognize the multitude as a state of consciousness that follows your attention when it rests in awareness. Three days of company with the inner truth become a symbolic stretch of your inner discipline. The supply does not come from outside you; it is the fruit of your I AM looking with mercy on what you have allowed to seem real. When the disciples ask, you are asked: How many loaves have ye? Look within: what tiny mental resources do you still insist are real? The seven loaves and a few fish are not limitations but invitations to see that your inner resources, multiplied by imagination, are sufficient to feed every aspect of your life. Abundance flows through your attention as you maintain the feeling of being fed by pure consciousness. Trust this: as you remain faithful to the inner movement, the apparent famine dissolves into feast.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and say, 'I AM the abundance within me,' feel the truth of it descend into your body. Then imagine seven loaves multiplying and feeding the multitude, and dwell in the gratitude that it is so.
