Biblical Context

In Matthew 14:32-33, the wind ceases once they enter the boat. The disciples then worship and acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the wind as your restless thoughts, roaring at the perceived limits of life. In Matthew 14:32-33, the moment the boat carries into stillness, it is not the weather that changes first, but the consciousness that names itself I AM. When the disciples cry out with worship, they are declaring a truth you can claim now: the Christ within you is not a distant figure, but your own awareness made visible by quiet power. The wind ceases where you choose to stop vibrating in fear and begin to identify with the Presence that animates every scene. Jesus does not calm nature by force alone; he invites you to recognize him as the one I AM in you and as the one you are forever. Your sense of separation dissolves as you accept this inner fact and stand in gratitude. Practice begins by assuming the state of the Son of God, not hoping for a miracle but becoming the miracle in thought and feeling. Then the storm recedes and worship arises as your natural response when you know yourself as God in expression.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, step into the inner boat, and assume the I AM as your reality. Mentally declare, 'I AM the Son of God in this moment,' and feel the inner wind fall silent.
