Inner Harvest and Self Realization

Matthew 13:30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 13 in context

Scripture Focus

30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Matthew 13:30

Biblical Context

Both tares and wheat grow together in the field of the mind until the harvest of awareness; the tares are false beliefs that are burned away, while the wheat represents your true self gathered into your inner barn.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your Matthew 13:30 field is not a distant judgment but the theater of consciousness in which you imagine and revise your life. The tares and the wheat growing side by side are not persons or futures but beliefs and identifications within you. The harvest is the decisive moment when your awareness recognizes what you have accepted as real. The instruction to gather tares first and burn them is your inner discipline: do not fight them as facts, rather treat them as outdated pictures in your mind that you are free to re-script. When you consciously decide that you, I AM, choose the wheat, you separate the two in your consciousness, and the barn becomes the state in which you hold your realized nature. The reapers are your faculties of attention and imagination that collect the imagery you feed on. By persistently claiming the wheat, by revising the tares into non-entity and resting in the I AM, the separation occurs inside you and the old image dissolves. You do not seek to change others; you elevate your own inner vision until the harvest reveals your true self as the I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit in stillness and revise one cherished tares; imagine them bound and burned. Then feel yourself stepping into the barn as the Wheat—the real you—already present in the I AM.
