Biblical Context
Jesus explains that parables are given to some to know the mysteries of the Kingdom, while others see and hear yet do not understand; the inner state determines what is revealed.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the awakening ear, the mystery is not a tale about others but a mirror of your own consciousness. The 'disciples' are not history but a state of receptive awareness that allows the Kingdom to be known. When Jesus says it is given to you to know the mysteries, he is declaring that the inner light attends those who assume the I AM as their reality; the 'them' who do not have are those who persist in the outer sense, and so what they cling to is taken away—their outer abundance or lack is only a symptom of their inner agreement. Parables serve as a gentle filter, so seeing remains a function of inner sight; hearing remains a function of inner listening. The Kingdom of heaven is not a place 'over there' but a quiet fullness within, accessible by revision, belief, and feeling it real. If you claim the kingdom now, more steps of abundance reveal themselves; if you doubt, you drain your store. Your job is to align your consciousness with the state of knowing, and all these forms of parabolic teaching become your inner vocabulary.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume the I AM is your immediate awareness; repeat 'I am the Kingdom within,' and feel abundance expanding into every sensation, as if you already see and hear with divine clarity.
