Matthew 12:33-37 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse teaches that a person is known by the fruit of their actions and by the words that spring from the heart. Idle words reveal an inner disposition, while good words reveal a good treasure within.
Neville's Inner Vision
The tree is your inner life; the fruit is what you express in speech and action. When you hear harsh judgments, remember the inner climate you dwell in—your words flow from your heart's state. The day of judgment is an inner moment of recognition, where you justify or condemn yourself by the quality of your inner speech. You can change your world by changing your inner treasure. Cultivate a good treasure in the heart and let it overflow into words and deeds. Your I AM is the governing consciousness; imagination, not external rule, shapes reality. To change your life, revise your inner sentence until what you say matches the life you desire. Do not seek outward signs; seek the inner condition that makes those signs inevitable.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the good treasure of your heart; speak from that treasure. For a period, revise idle words into affirmative or truthful statements and feel them real in your chest.
