Withdrawal and Healing Presence
Matthew 12:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Pharisees plot against Jesus, and he withdraws. Large crowds follow, and he heals them all.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the Neville vantage, the Pharisees are not men in a crowd but a state of consciousness that insists on destruction. When Jesus senses the council against him, he does not argue; he withdraws into the I AM, the aware center that sees through fear and motive. This withdrawal is not retreat but a deliberate resetting of vibration, a turning away from the story of threat so the truth can speak. The great multitudes that follow are not external masses but the various inhabitants of consciousness drawn to the healing presence that proceeds from stillness. As I dwell in that I AM, the impression of conflict dissolves, and healing arises in body and circumstance. The verse invites me to trust that any council of doubt can be answered by quiet, inner authority, by feeling the life of God here and now rather than defending a worn-out interpretation. In that space, every wound is seen as healed, and every question becomes a doorway to embodiment of peace.
Practice This Now
Practice: In a moment of fear or criticism, close your eyes, assume the feeling of the I AM and revise the inner council by declaring, I withdraw from fear and enter consciousness that heals. Then imagine healing light moving through you and through every area of life that seems touched by disturbance, feeling it real.
