Read Matthew 10 in context

Scripture Focus

9Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Matthew 10:9-10

Biblical Context

Jesus instructs his followers not to carry money or extra baggage; the worker is sustained by provision and trust in God rather than external resources.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, this passage unveils a state of consciousness beyond the purse. The command not to carry gold or scrip is not a prohibition on resources, but a cue to inhabit the state of absolute reliance on the I AM within. The 'workman is worthy of his meat' declares that the matter of supply follows from inner alignment, not external means. When you imagine yourself as the aware, unconditioned I AM, you are the source of every need met; fear, planning, and measuring become signals that you have temporarily forgotten your divine nature. The journey becomes a demonstration of Providence: you move without a cart because you already carry the abundance of consciousness. Your outer world reflects your inner decision: "I am provided for," and so the universe rearranges itself to confirm that conviction. Do not chase money; revise scarcity by dwelling in the feeling of sufficiency, and let your thoughts be practical but anchored in the same assured posture. The act of trust creates the conditions your life invites.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare 'I am the I AM; I am provided for now,' and feel the sense of abundance spreading through your body until it colors every act you take.
