Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through Neville Goddard's lens, Matthew 10:1 becomes a Scripture of inner states. The twelve disciples are not distant men, but twelve facets of your own awareness—attention, faith, courage, discernment, will, compassion—called forth by the I AM. The 'power against unclean spirits' is your capacity to dislodge fear, doubt, and lack by aligning with the I AM presence. 'To cast out' means freeing your mind from limiting thoughts; 'to heal all manner of sickness and disease' is the restitution of harmony in your inner life, a correction of belief that sickness is final. When you call these inner faculties into action, you live from a state in which conditions respond to your inner picture. The real miracle is your shift in consciousness: if you assume the healer’s identity and feel the I AM as your own, you will see the world rearrange itself to match your inner vision. Imagination is not pretend; it is the instrument by which you revise reality, and in that instrument the disease dissolves as conviction holds, here and now.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly; assume the I AM is now healing within you. Visualize the inner twelve at work, casting out fear and restoring wellness, as if already finished; spend 2–5 minutes feeling it real.
