Biblical Context
An angel visits Joseph in a dream, telling him not to fear marrying Mary because the baby is conceived by the Holy Spirit. The child will be named Jesus and will save people from their sins.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of this scene not as a distant historical event but as a vivid revelation within your own mind. The angel is the voice of your I AM, the dream a doorway through which a divine idea is born. Fear no longer governs you; the command 'fear not' invites you to consent to the birth of truth in consciousness. The Holy Ghost signifies a living, divine idea conceived in you, and naming the child Jesus is naming the inner outcome—salvation, deliverance from bondage to limitation. When you accept that this birth is taking place within, your sense of sin and separation loosens its grip, and grace and forgiveness flow into your awareness. The saving is not external but a transformation of your inner state; as your consciousness awakens to the Christ within, your world rearranges to reflect that truth. The message of the angel is an invitation to dwell in a new, liberated awareness where grace reigns and salvation is already yours.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, assume I AM as your present reality, and revise the situation by declaring, 'A divine idea within me births salvation now.' Feel the relief as the problem dissolves and your life aligns with that inner revelation.
