Inner Rise of the Son
Mark 9:30-32 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus warns that the Son of Man will be delivered into human hands, killed, and rise on the third day; the disciples misunderstand and fear to ask for clarification.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the Son of Man not as a distant event but as the I AM within you, the ever-present awareness that you mistake for your life. The line that he is delivered into the hands of men and killed speaks to the moment your old beliefs seize control of your perception; those hands are not external enemies but thoughts, habits, and conditions you have allowed to govern you. When you persist in dwelling under that narrative, you experience restriction; when you stop handing over your power and declare that I AM is the authority of this life, you deliver your earlier self to be 'killed' in favor of a greater truth. The 'third day' rising is not a future date but a psychological dawn: a recognition of life that already exists beneath the worn image you call yourself. The disciples' fear to ask mirrors your own hesitations to question the validity of your familiar scripts; yet inquiry—born of inner communion—loosens their hold. Prophecy here is promise: belief attains form through inner conviction, and life reawakens as you align your inner picture with the truth of unlimited existence.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, revise the inner scene by affirming I AM rising now, and feel the old self die away. Then sense the new life already present within you awakening into clear consciousness.
